Who We Are
Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs across the country work to better their communities, enhance the well-being of Canadians and improve the environment. The Association was founded in 1920 and has a history dedicated to fostering lifelong friendships while ‘Serving the Community’s Greatest Need.’
Over 6,000 members belong to approximately 450 Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs across Canada. Read more
Our founder, Hal Rogers, recognized the importance of educating our future generations. In memory of Hal, the HREF, through its Kin Canada Bursaries program, provides financial assistance to help students pursue higher learning. Read more
Our 11 member Board of Directors define the Association’s vision, policies and purposes based on the membership’s needs. Each of the 470+ clubs, 54 Zones and 8 Districts have an organizational structure to ensure their success. Read more

The Kinsmen Foundation of BC & Yukon
…. is celebrating over 60 years of serving the needs of severely physically disabled people throughout British Columbia and Yukon Territory. The Foundation was started by the Kinsmen Club of Vancouver in 1952 to fight and find a cure for the dreaded disease, Polio. When a cure was found, the Foundation changed its focus to assist those who were stricken with this terrible disease. In later years the Foundation was expanded. Read more
